Many people in America have something against immigrants who come to this country looking for a better life and to escape from violence. â€Å"It is certainly not fair that undocumented immigrant workers do not pay taxes, and it is certainly unfair that they use public services without contributing to it† (Miller 55). For these Americans, their perspective on illegal immigrants is that they are nothing but a waste of space in this country and they are taking away this country’s resources and money with all the kids they are making once they accommodate themselves. The Americans who dislike illegal immigrants want the government to send them back to their country because they just cannot stand immigrants. Another way for an illegal immigrant to get on the payroll is by getting an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. According to Roy Germano â€Å"Immigrants now file their income taxes using Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs)†. Even though they have a number that they use to pay taxes, illegal immigrants also have to pay taxes for everything they buy including food, house rent, and other items. â€Å"Immigrants—legal and undocumented—all buy things, and thus pay these taxes as part of their purchase†. Immigrants are consumers just like everyone else in America. They have things that they have to buy to survive in this country, so they should be treated with respect regardless of their status. Secondly, illegal immigrants who lived in the United States for more than ten years should not be deported because they help the economy. Most of the illegal immigrants who come to this country leave their native country so they can have a better life and, unlike many Americans, they are willing to take any kind of job no matter how harsh the labor can be. Global warming has been a hot topic for generations. Questions like What is causing it? How can we reduce it?, or Is it natural or a man-made cause? Have stumped scientists and engineers. Most people think that reducing global warming means having to buy expensive green contraptions or driving fuel-efficient cars, that can be dangerous, due to their size, and can take hours to charge. But fortunately, there are effective and cost efficient ways to reduce global warming and live a cleaner, healthier life. One thing is for sure, the climate is changing and if we dont do something soon, the Earth my face harmful, and even deadly consequences. Global warming is caused by emissions of greenhouse gases such as Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Methane (CH4), which is the strongest of the greenhouse gases, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and Water Vapor (H2O). Greenhouse gases absorb Infrared Radiation (heat) photons and re emit them back to Earth, trapping them in the atmosphere as Thermal Energy, in a proc ess called the greenhouse effect. Things like factories, transportation, electricity energy, and agriculture/cattle ranches cause those emissions of greenhouse gases. If too many greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere, too much heat will become trapped and the Earth’s temperature will rise. When Ben stands and starts to talk a girl in the group starts laughing with her friend and tries to imitate him.
